Clinopodium vulgare
An aromatic herbaceous plant of the mint family, native to Mediterranean regions. It develops small pink or purple flowers clustered in heads and aromatic leaves traditionally used in herbal medicine.
Prefers well-drained soil and sunny locations. Water moderately, allowing soil to dry between waterings. Drought and cold resistant. Can be pruned after flowering to maintain compact shape.
