Autumn plant par excellence. Wide variety of flower colors and shapes.
Chrysanthemums need between 5 and 10 hours of direct sunlight per day to bloom well in autumn; place them in a bright spot whether indoors or outdoors. Water moderately, keeping the substrate slightly moist but never waterlogged, as they do not tolerate excess water. Use a well-draining substrate and fertilise during spring and summer to encourage abundant flowering. Bear in mind that this plant is toxic to humans and pets, so handle it with care and keep it out of their reach.
