Centaurea montana
Perennial herbaceous plant with intense blue flowers, native to the Pyrenees and Alps. Ideal for rock gardens and borders, very frost-resistant and easy to grow.
Needs direct sunlight and well-drained soil. Water moderately during dry periods. Can live for many years with minimal maintenance. Deadheading extends flowering period.
