Capsicum frutescens
Perennial shrub native to Mesoamerica that produces long, thin red hot peppers. Widely cultivated for culinary and medicinal use due to its intense flavor.
Requires direct sunlight for at least 6 hours daily. Water moderately keeping soil moist but not waterlogged. Avoid temperatures below 15°C. Fertilize every two weeks during flowering and fruiting.
