Berberis buxifolia
A deciduous shrub native to Patagonia with small oval leaves and yellow spring flowers. It produces edible dark blue berries in summer.
Requires well-drained soil and moderate pruning. Tolerates drought and strong frosts. Avoid waterlogging.
