Begonia semperflorens needs between 3 and 7 hours of light per day, tolerating both direct sun and semi-shade; place it in a bright spot whether indoors or outdoors. Water it at a moderate frequency, allowing the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent excess moisture at the roots. Do not expose it to temperatures below 10 °C, as it is not frost-hardy; in winter, if kept outside, bring it indoors. Use a light, well-draining substrate to encourage abundant flowering from spring through autumn.
