Astrophytum ornatum
Globular cactus with star-shaped appearance when viewed from above, characterized by prominent tubercles and distinctive symmetry. Blooms with bright yellow flowers and is quite easy to cultivate.
Requires abundant sunlight and well-draining soil. Water moderately in summer and very little in winter. Keep in dry locations and protect from intense cold.
