Growing tips

Common mugwort is a robust and hardy plant that needs an outdoor location with direct sunlight, at least 6 hours per day. Water it sparingly and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as it tolerates drought very well and suffers from excess moisture. It prefers a well-draining, poor soil and requires no winter protection since it withstands temperatures down to -15 °C. Plant it in spring or autumn and bear in mind that it has mild toxicity, so handle it with care.
