Perennial herbaceous plant with elegant and distinctive flowers in varied colors, typically blue, white or bicolored with characteristic spurs. Ideal for shaded and semi-shaded gardens.
Prefer semi-shade, moderate but regular watering, rich soil with good drainage. Divide every 3-4 years. Declines in dry climate or too much direct sun.
