Angelica gigas
Biennial or perennial herbaceous plant that can reach 2-2.5 meters in height. Native to East Asia, it is cultivated for its roots with medicinal properties used in traditional medicine.
Requires moist soil and good drainage. Prefers semi-shaded locations protected from wind. Propagate from seeds in spring. Needs sufficient space for growth. Harvest roots in autumn of the second year.
