Aloe barbadensis miller
Medicinal succulent plant, ideal for sunny terraces.
Aloe vera needs direct sunlight for at least 5-6 hours a day and should be grown outdoors in a sunny spot, such as a terrace. Water it very sparingly: always wait until the substrate is completely dry between waterings, as it is highly sensitive to excess moisture. Use a well-draining substrate, ideally one formulated for succulents or cacti. Since it is not frost-hardy, protect it or move it to a sheltered location if temperatures drop to 0 °C.
