Allium cristophii
Spectacular Allium with large star-shaped violet inflorescences. Long-lasting flower ideal for dried arrangements.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny spot with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day, in well-drained soil to prevent waterlogging, as it tolerates frost down to -10 °C and thrives in Mediterranean conditions. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, especially during its summer dormancy period. It is an easy-to-grow plant suited exclusively for outdoor growing; note that it is toxic and should be handled with care.
