Giant epiphytic bromeliad native to Brazil with large, arching leaves forming an impressive rosette. Produces bright red flowers on a spike during summer.
Keep humidity constant but avoid waterlogging. Place in bright indirect light. Requires temperatures between 15-25°C and high ambient humidity. Fertilize monthly during spring and summer.
