Ajuga reptans
Fast-growing groundcover plant with glossy green leaves and blue-violet flowers blooming in spring. Excellent as ground cover and very cold-hardy.
Requires moderate moisture but not waterlogging. Tolerates semi-shade well. Light pruning after flowering. Grows quickly forming dense mats.
