Aeonium decorum needs between 5 and 11 hours of direct sunlight per day to maintain its variegated foliage and reddish leaf margins; if grown indoors, place it in the brightest spot available. Water very sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, especially in winter when the plant enters its rest period. Use a well-draining succulent-specific mix and ensure the pot has drainage holes. As it is not frost-hardy, protect it from temperatures below 5 °C.
