Arbust tropical amb fulles grans i brillants de color verd amb nervis grocs característics. Produeix flors petites de color groc viu agrupades en inflorescències durant l'estiu.
Mantén el sòl humit però no encanat. Prefereix llum indirecta brillant i temperatures càlides. Proporcioneu fertilitzant mensual durant la temporada de creixement i podeu regularment per mantenir la forma.
